Bay Lodge - Birchington-on-Sea

Comfortable bed ensured great sleep, but the lack of proper parking was frustrating. Close to Beach and Golf course.

The shower in the Becket room pointed toward the door, causing a flood when trying to adjust the temperature-definitely a design oversight. Not to mention, the kettle had a limescale issue, and I encountered a coffee cup with lipstick stains. There was also no breakfast provided, which I found odd given the price-definitely hit or miss for meals around here. My experience was a mixed bag, with both comfort and design flaws present.

Deluxe hotel and brilliant location near sea front. Welcoming staff, immaculate, neat room with comfy bed and milk plus a very good bathroom. With an electric kettle and a refrigerator.

No complaint, the venue suited the needs, can recommend it.

Bay lodge is lovely. It's really quiet yet conveniently located near local shops and the sea. The communication from the hosts was excellent, with clear email instructions for collecting keys.

The Bay Lodge surprised me with its immaculate room and generous amenities. The tea and coffee were regularly replenished. The fridge was stocked with chocolates-what a sweet touch! Clear instructions made check-in seamless, which I greatly appreciated. The location is excellent. Just a short walk to the beach and nearby shops. I did find the twin room a bit dusty with a few spiders, which could use some attention. Daily housekeeping seemed inconsistent. Wet towels were left folded on the bed, and one obviously dirty towel wasn't replaced. A little more care could elevate the experience.

Wow, the room was super clean and comfy, seemed like home! The shower was just beautiful, and we slept like babies on that lekker bed. And a fridge for our cold drinks was a nice touch!

One downside, we kinda missed a proper brekkie but it was fine.

the only downside was parking being a bit tricky sometimes, but the location was lovely! the cleanliness was immaculate and the refreshing tea & coffee options were a nice touch! super comfy bed made for a great night’s sleep!

The room had an electric kettle, central heating, and an iron. the bed was lovely. - Great decor. - Good location right next to Bay Lodge, the beach, coast, and the village. - Local shop on the corner with a cafe for breakfast.

We'd totally return here. this place is super fancy, with really nice staff and clean rooms. 😊
